The Making of Kaleidoscope Tarot
The glass is first cut into strips using the morton glass system. They are scored using a Toyo Pistol Grip SuperCutter. Then broken into strips using Running Pliers. I mostly use spectrum glass. http://www.spectrumglass.com/

The strips are then cut into diamonds.  Each diamond is scored and then broken apart.  I keep two stations on for 90 degree cuts and the other for 60 degree cuts. Look how grubby this one is. The Running Pliers have blue handles and the Toyo Pistol Grip S

The diamonds are sorted by color and placed in this Thread Box.

They are cleaned with alchohol.

And the lettering is applied with a special gold pen. That goes on fairly clear but when heated turns gold.

They are placed in a kiln on top of kiln shelf paper. They will be fire polished at 1362 degrees.  It takes a couple of hours to get this hot. They spend 5 minutes at this temperature then the kiln turns off and cools down for 10 hours.  I can´t open the
